Throwing down a problem to the Bharatiya Janata Social gathering (BJP) within the run-up to the Bengal polls due in about 5 months, Prashant Kishor, chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s election strategist, mentioned on Monday that he would depart his “house” if the BJP wins greater than 99 of the state’s 294 meeting seats.
Kishore tweeted: “For all of the hype AMPLIFIED by a piece of supportive media, in actuality BJP will battle to CROSS DOUBLE DIGITS in #WestBengal. PS: Please save this tweet and if BJP does any higher I have to give up this house!”
BJP leaders scoffed on the declare, saying it was ambiguous as a result of Kishor hadn’t spelt out what he meant by “house.”
A high government at I-Pac, Kishor’s firm, mentioned he meant leaving his job as an election strategist. “What he meant is kind of apparent. He’ll depart his work if the BJP wins greater than 99 seats in Bengal.
