A Pakistani fisherman has been apprehended together with his boat after he intruded into the Indian territory off the Gujarat coast, the Border Safety Pressure (BSF) mentioned on Sunday.
The intruder was held within the Sir Creek space on Saturday night throughout a patrolling by the personnel of the Gujarat Frontier of the BSF, it mentioned.
“It’s to tell that on December 19 at 1750 hours, BSF troops whereas patrolling on the whole space Sir Creek noticed one Pakistani fishing boat which had intruded into Indian territory, making the most of tough sea state and restricted visibility,” the BSF mentioned in an announcement. “Alert BSF patrolling celebration seized the boat together with one Pakistani fisherman,” it added.
The apprehended man has been recognized as Khalid Hussain, 35, a resident of the Sindh area within the neighbouring nation, in response to the BSF.
A jerrycan with 20 litres of diesel, one cell phone, two fishing nets, eight bundles of plastic threads and a few crabs have been seized from his possession, the pressure acknowledged.
In view of the incident, the BSF launched a radical search operation within the space which was underway within the night as properly and nothing suspicious was recovered to this point, it added.
