The Aam Aadmi Get together (AAP) on Saturday introduced it would stage a sit-in in opposition to the alleged misappropriation of funds of greater than Rs 2,400 crore within the north Municipal Company of Delhi (MCD). “North MCD waived off Rs 2,500 crore lease dues of South MCD, leading to a loss to the general public exchequer. Who’s accountable for this corruption? Tomorrow, we’ll go and meet Union dwelling minister and LG at 11 am. We are going to sit there until they offer consent for CBI enquiry,” AAP lawmaker Atishi Marlena mentioned in a press convention in the present day.
AAP has accused the north MCD of misappropriation of funds to the tune of greater than Rs 2,400 crore and mentioned that the Delhi authorities had initiated a probe into it.
