The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) on Friday carried out searches in 5 locations in Kerala in reference to the gold smuggling case referring to the seizure of 30 kg gold in July this 12 months, its spokesperson mentioned right here.
The searches had been performed on the residences of 5 accused — Mohamed Aslam, Abdul Latheef, Nazarudheen Sha, Ramzan P and Muhammed Mansoor.
