Water therapy plant inaugurated in Gujarat’s Sachin

The Surat Municipal Company (SMC) lately inaugurated a tertiary therapy plant (TTP) with 35 million litres per day (MLD) capability at Bamroli for supplying handled water to about 68 textile dyeing and printing mills within the Sachin industrial space managed by the Gujarat Industrial Improvement Company (GIDC). Work is happening for 3 extra TTPs at Kosad, Bhesan and Asarma.

Surat was the primary within the state to arrange a TTP of 40 MLD capability at Bamroli in 2014. The plant is producing industrial grade water and that it’s being provided to the textile mills situated in Pandesara industrial space since 2014.

SMC government engineer EH Pathan informed an Indian newspaper that the company goals at treating and supplying 550 MLD water to industrial items in Pandesara, Sachin, Palsana, Hazira and close by areas at the price of ₹500 crore by 2021.
