After dropping the final Parliamentary elections from Nizamabad, Telangana Chief Minister’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha is again in lively politics.

She too took oath because the member of Telangana Legislative Council after successful a by-poll in Nizamabad just lately.  

She was administered the oath of workplace and secrecy by G Sukhender Reddy, Legislative Council Chairman at Hyderabad, making her a member of Higher Home of the state legislature.

Kavitha was elected to the Legislative Council on October 12, successful the by-election from Nizamabad Native Authorities Constituency. She secured 728 out of 823 votes and each her rivals from Bharatiya Janata Celebration (BJP) and Congress forfeited their deposit.
