Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched the bodily distribution of property playing cards beneath the ‘SVAMITVA’ (possession) scheme by way of video conferencing and asserted that it was a “historic transfer” set to rework rural India.
The transfer will pave the way in which for villagers to make use of property as a monetary asset for taking loans and different monetary advantages.
The Prime Minister’s Workplace (PMO) has mentioned the launch will allow round one lakh property holders to obtain their property playing cards by way of an SMS hyperlink despatched on their cell phones, and this may be adopted by the bodily distribution of property playing cards by respective state governments.

These beneficiaries are from 763 villages throughout six states — 346 from Uttar Pradesh, 221 from Haryana, 100 from Maharashtra, 44 from Madhya Pradesh, 50 from Uttarakhand and two from Karnataka.
Modi interacted with many beneficiaries of the Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Know-how in Village Areas (SVAMITVA) scheme. PTI
