The Resident Medical doctors Affiliation (RDA) of the North Delhi Municipal Company-run Hindu Rao Hospital on Sunday withdrew from work after the administration failed to fulfill the deadline for releasing their salaries.

The RDA had on Friday threatened to withdraw the providers if the administration didn’t pay their salaries inside 48 hours. The deadline expired on Sunday morning.

“Greater than 200 resident medical doctors and over 300 nursing workers are on an indefinite strike since October 5. The administration has not paid our salaries for 3 months. It’s tough to proceed working like this,” RDA president Abhimanyu Sardana stated.Authorities on Saturday shifted 20 Covid-19 sufferers from the hospital to the Delhi government-run amenities, with well being Minister Satyendar Jain saying the civic physique ought to “hand over” municipal hospitals to the AAP authorities.
