Neeraj Sharma, Congress MLA from Faridabad, on Wednesday met Delhi Metro Rail Company (DMRC) authorities, and urged for the inclusion of Payali Chowk within the listing of stations on the proposed Faridabad-Gurgaon metro railway route.
Throughout the assembly, Sharma apprised the officers, that the current route, connecting Bata Chowk and Aravali Golf Membership, leaves massive areas of the NIT and the Ballabgarh meeting constituencies fully uncatered.
The MLA batted for redrawing the route by way of Batta Chowk and Pyali Chowk, which might cater to a few meeting constituencies: NIT, Ballabgarh and Badkhal.
The three constituencies have a high-density inhabitants, and have high-percentage of staff, and low populace of the within the low-income group, particularly in NIT.
