The Border Safety Pressure (BSF) personnel on Monday caught three individuals making an attempt to infiltrate into India from Mizoram. The drive mentioned in an announcement that this was an “try by anti-national parts to smuggle arms and ammunition into the Indian territory”.
The BSF mentioned that they obtained the tip-off in regards to the infiltration try from a supply and accordingly launched an operation.

Late on Monday evening, the BSF troops intercepted two autos making an attempt to cross into the Indian territory. The autos have been noticed in West Phaileng in Mamit district which borders Bangladesh.

These arms and ammunition have been hidden within the cavities within the autos, it added.
The three apprehended individuals have been additionally carrying money value Rs 39,020, the BSF mentioned. They have been later handed over to the police.
