Violence erupted within the area on Thursday when the candidates of lecturers recruitment examination-2018 blocked the Udaipur-Ahmedabad Freeway, pelted stones at police, broken a number of properties and torched autos demanding to fill of 1,167 common vacant posts with ST candidates.

The violence continued on Friday and Saturday when one man was shot lifeless. 

An official of Dungarpur police management room mentioned a pickup van was torched in Ransagar space at round three am on Sunday.
