Belarusian firm modernising garment manufacturing facility



Belarusian textile firm Orsha Linen Mill is modernising its garment manufacturing facility at a value of greater than Br3 million ($1.23 million). The corporate processes linen fibre and produces materials in addition to completed piece and stitching merchandise from them. All teams of completed items together with males’s, girls’s, and kids’s clothes are made on the stitching manufacturing facility.

Orsha started modernising its garment manufacturing facility in late 2019 with the principle aim of accelerating output capability and product alternative. The manufacturing facility employs about 200 staff and has a capability to make almost three million items each year.

The corporate can be establishing an extra facility on 1,000 sq m of land, which is anticipated to create 60 new jobs. The development and set up work is full, and the ability is anticipated to be commissioned quickly, Belarusian media reviews mentioned.

The brand new facility may have two course of strains—one to make trousers out of flax and the opposite to supply shirts and blouses. It should have capability to supply almost 14,000 items per 30 days.

At current, 80 per cent of Orsha’s merchandise are exported to 43 international locations internationally. The modernisation venture will allow the corporate to start making new merchandise with higher high quality requirements, the reviews added.
